Full Job Description

Based on our internal equity review process, the starting salary for this position will be $18.17

The current full hourly range for this position is $18.17 -$34.06 

Beyond the Bell Visual & Performing Arts Instructors will implement arts curriculum (Dance, Visual Art, Theater, Music, or Culinary), to a group of students at an elementary school within Tacoma Public Schools, from 3pm - 6pm throughout the school year. Working in the Beyond the Bell program is an incredibly rewarding experience. As an Art Instructor, you will have the opportunity to teach art to students in the Tacoma community who may otherwise never get to experience art hands-on. Day-to-day tasks include planning lessons, working directly with students to implement your lessons, and develop strong relationships with students. This work is exciting because it allows you to use your creativity to produce and deliver wonderful art programs that you will share with your students.

Position Information

Provide fun, informative and exciting classes or learning opportunities in assigned program area.
