WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Global Mobility Intern will assist the geographically dispersed Global Mobility team, primarily working with and supporting Superusers for the technology platform, Assignment Pro. BCG’s Global Mobility Team uses mobility to ensure we provide our clients with the best talent and also provide enriching, development experiences to our employees. We aim to do so by using state-of-the-art technology with the user experience front of mind.

Responsibilities for this Intern will provide growth opportunities in three areas:

Technical acumen and experience in Agile ways of working:

Assisting with change requests for AssignmentPro

Contributing to designing solutions, documenting requirements and testing to evaluate usability

Ensuring appropriate documentation is in place to preserve history and enable users to self- serve

Assisting in work allocation, ticket generation and minor issue resolution

Data analysis and reporting:

Improving data integrity through audit processes

Trouble shooting data inconsistencies, identifying root causes of data anomalies

Support users with improvements to current reports and dashboards

Operational efficiency:

Providing support to automate and modernize processes and deliverables

Supporting Global Mobility team and other users with adoption of the enhancements

Other project related activities to improve efficiencies

YOU'RE GOOD AT

Effectively communicating with an organized, detail-oriented, and analytical approach

Getting comfortable with complexities and creatively problem solve though technology

Taking initiative, being resourceful, and working in a global environment

Working in a professional, service-oriented, and flexible manner

Working in a fast-paced environment, able to prioritize and effectively manage work to meet competing deadlines

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

Course work in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or International Business

Strong academic performance and prior work/internship experience

Experience with data analytics and reporting

Ability to work on multiple projects or assignments at a time

Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills

Curiosity for digital products and system design. SQL, HTML knowledge a plus

YOU'LL WORK WITH

This position is a member of the Global Mobility, Staffing, and Flex Team, which falls under the direction of BCG’s People Leadership Team. This role will be part of our team in Boston but you will work on a daily basis with colleagues based in Boston, London and New Delhi as well as stakeholders in many of BCG’s global offices.
