GENERAL LABORER IN SALINAS, CA
Volt is immediately hiring for a General Laborer in Salinas, CA
As a General Laborer, you will be:
- Shipping and order pulling on order picker working in heights up to 15 feet.
- Working indoors and outdoors.
- Putting away materials and maybe cycle counting.
- Working on the dock, loading and unloading trucks
- Pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
- Receiving, verifying, staging and stocking all incoming material.
- Ensuring the warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe always.
This is a Full-time, contract opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred.
- Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it.
- Sit down Forklift Operator experience is required.
- Manual lifting to 50 lbs.
- Standing, bending, twisting and pulling for full 8-hour shift
- Basic computer experience/math skills
Pay Rate: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour.
