Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Executive Director with extensive expertise in securitization, Asset-Backed Securities (ABS), and structured credit to play a key role in our Fund Finance division. The successful candidate will utilize their deep capital markets background to innovate, structure, and execute complex fund finance transactions, reflecting the evolving landscape of fund finance as a structured product. Collaboration with institutional lenders, will be essential for diversifying funding sources and enhancing our financing solutions.
The role covers a broad spectrum of fund finance solutions, including:
* Fund-level subscription financing and its securitization
* Fund-level Net Asset Value (NAV) financing
* General Partner (GP) financing
Key Responsibilities:
- Originate, structure, execute, and distribute sophisticated fund finance transactions, particularly emphasizing securitization and structured credit solutions.
- Actively collaborate with non-bank lending partners to expand capital sources and optimize transaction structures.
- Develop innovative products and strategies tailored to market needs, leveraging a structured credit perspective.
- Build and maintain robust client relationships and proactively identify new opportunities.
- Represent the Fund Finance division externally, actively engaging industry associations and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure governance, oversight, and risk management of the Global Fund Finance portfolio.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team, transferring securitization and structured credit expertise.
- Foster professional growth, talent development, and succession planning.
- Promote diversity, inclusion, and a high-performance culture.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Balance financial performance objectives with robust risk and compliance practices.
- Ensure adherence to all internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Establish clear governance processes for fund finance securitization activities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
- Minimum of 11 years' experience in structured finance or capital markets.
- At least 5 years of direct fund finance experience or other areas in Credit.
- Extensive background in securitization, ABS, and structured credit markets.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and credit structuring skills.
- Experience negotiating complex legal documentation across jurisdictions.

Expected annual base pay range for the role is 214,240USD to 267,800 USD. The final offer will be determined on an individualised basis using a number of variables, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and education, internal relativity, and specific work location. At Standard Chartered Bank, Base pay is only part of the total compensation package.
