Electrical Engineer
Must work onsite in Galesburg, Illinois
Position Summary
The Electrical Project Engineer manages the UL 508A program. Coordinate fastback electrical requirements, as it relates to UL. Support the electrical control activities within manufacturing.
Job Responsibilities Include
- Electrical project management work directly with project PM and/or customers.
- Work with UL 508A, IEC, ISO, and CE.
- Manage the UL 508A program
- Manufacturers Technical Representative for UL
- Design and create electrical schematics for UL and CE listed industrial control panels using Bentley Promise design software based on mechanical design spec.
- Assist the manufacturing of control panels.
- Testing PLC and OIT programs on machines in-house and onsite.
- Troubleshoot machinery operations and control circuits.
- Create new SAP electrical parts numbers and descriptions.
Required Education and Experience
- Certified UL 508A Manufacturer's Technical Representative (MTR)
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering preferred, or AS degree in Industrial Controls
- UL 508A, CE requirements for panel design
- Good knowledge of 24VDC control/safety circuits thru 575VAC 3PH power circuits
- 3 - 4 years of experience as an Electrical Controls Engineer
- Experienced in 3D modeling and AutoCAD
- Skill sets preferred: RS Logix 5000 and Wonderware
- Experience working in SAP is preferred
