Job Description:
Join Fidelity Labs, our in-house new business incubator, and build the next generation of DevOps infrastructure for our current and future startups! You will guide existing startups through the DevOps process on Fidelity's infrastructure and lead the development of an improved process for future startups.
The Role
This role will act as the primary interface between Fidelity's core DevOps and Infrastructure teams and the technical teams within Labs. Your primary goal will be the simplify and expeditate the DevOps processes for current Labs businesses. You will also work closely with early stage teams on design and initial setup.
- Develop and maintain tools and processes for spinning up new environments for current and new Labs Teams.
- Own the relationships between Labs and Fidelity's core DevOps and Infrastructure teams as well as key 3rd party vendors.
- Advise Lab's Portfolio on implementation of Fidelity's approved AWS and Azure services.
- Own the issue resolution process across Labs' Portfolio of businesses.
- Build and maintain documentation for the Deployment/Infrastructure processes.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
This role requires deep technical expertise in building and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure. Provisioning and maintaining cloud infrastructure at Fidelity requires coordination across numerous technology groups and a strong awareness of the industry specific governance and security considerations.
- Develop strong working relationships across numerous teams within Labs and the broader Infrastructure/DevOps organizations.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), container orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Fidelity's pipeline libraries).
- Ability to quickly grasp Fidelity-specific deployment standards, patterns, and internal controls.
- Strong written communication, particularly technical documentation.
- Familiarity with Fidelity operations and tools such as Venafi, SecureTrak, ServiceNow, Jira, Cloudability, Highway Tools (ALMx Role Management, Profiles, Toolbox), Power BI, Grafana.

The base salary range for this position is $103,000-$218,000 per year.Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate's relevant experience, and other factors.
Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
