THE WORK
* Provide technical leadership, direction, and technology strategies to ensure mission success execution of programs & pursuits
* Architect Digital Signal Processing solutions of EW systems for military and space applications
* Enable business growth by successful technical execution, innovation and customer engagement
* Provide technical expertise to new business pursuits. Be able to architect innovative solutions to digital signal processing needs, including Electronics Surveillance and Electronic Attack subsystems, systems, and algorithms
* Be authority on developing solutions for and closing technical issues
* Engage with our internal and external customers in the development and execution of technical architectures
* Be able to balance system architectural trades among hardware, software, and firmware implementations

WHO YOU ARE
This position is for a Digital Signal Processing System Architect within the C6ISR EW team. As a member of this group, the candidate is responsible for the development and deployment of EW systems for military and space applications. The product portfolio includes a robust collection of technologies, programs and future opportunities.

A successful candidate will be responsible to mentor, and evaluate performance of technical teams and act as an advisor while resolving critical and complex technical and/or operational challenges. Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment, and be capable of working at all levels of the organization, internal and external, to ensure technical objectives are met.

Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in modeling and data analysis (e.g. MATLAB)

- Adept in digital signal process techniques such as analytic signal processing, multi-rate systems, frequency domain techniques, and filter design
Desired Skills:
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

- Strong applied mathematics acumen in areas such as linear modeling, estimation theory, and statistics, with the ability to implement algorithms realizing implementation constraints

- Strong software skills

- Familiarity with EW Programs and Platforms

- Willing to enhance skill thru engaging in matriculated coursework

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $109,500 - $209,900 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $125,900 - $237,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
