Job Purpose
The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for managing the intraday execution of Customer Meter Services (CMS) work in the Electric Business Unit in an efficient and effective manner which yields optimal technician utilization while exceeding targets for regulatory compliance, customer safety, and satisfaction obligations.
Key Accountabilities
* Develop and dispatch daily routes to one or more groups of CMS Technicians across Massachusetts for meter change activities.
* Optimize technician work assignment and routing to yield high value work execution.
* Work and communicate with interfacing teams including Electric Field Operations (CMS), Resource Planning, Contact Center, Account Maintenance to ensure efficient work execution throughout the day.
* Provide support to field operations for both emergency and non-emergency situations.
* Demonstrate highly proficient skills in development and distribution of reporting tools that reflect results of field work completion.
* Provide high level of internal and external customer satisfaction by ensuring all customer commitments are executed upon within require time frames.
Qualifications
* Work experience in gas and/or electric utility environment is a plus.
* Prior scheduling and/or dispatching experience in an electronic environment is a plus.
* Ability to multi-task effectively and remain focused throughout workday.
* Able to work differing shifts is a plus, with potential to work weekends when required. Working hours may exceed 8 hours per day.
* Strong organization and planning skills.
* Ability to work effectively without direct supervision.
* Strong verbal communication skills.
* Capable of analyzing varying business drivers and workload and ability to make quick decisions.
* Ability to work effectively with multiple software applications, including Microsoft Office 365.
* Minimum high school diploma, undergraduate or associate degree preferred.
