Our telecommunications client is seeking a Content Creator for a 12-month assignment (40 hrs/week). Candidates must be able to work onsite in Overland Park, KS 5 days/week.
Position Overview
This role focuses on creating, managing, and optimizing content to promote our telecommunications solutions and enhance our digital presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content creation, marketing strategies, and audience engagement, driving demand generation through various digital channels. This role is onsite, 5-days in office per week in Overland Park.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement content marketing strategies to support product launches and campaigns.
- Create engaging and informative content across multiple formats including blogs, social media, and email.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
- Conduct research to stay updated on industry trends and audience preferences.
- Manage editorial calendars to ensure timely delivery of content.
- Track and analyze content performance and make data-driven improvements.
- Produce and oversee virtual events, including webinars, ensuring high-quality production and engagement.
- Edit and proofread content to uphold brand voice and quality standards.
- Design visually appealing PowerPoint presentations for internal and external use.
- Utilize CRM tools to manage audience engagement and content distribution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in content marketing or digital marketing.
- Proficient in content creation tools and platforms, including ON24 and various virtual event platforms.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as SFDC and digital marketing tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
