What you'll do:

• Develop compelling, compliant, and well-structured proposals in response to government and commercial Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotations (RFQs), and Request for Information (RFI). *Don't worry if you don't know what this is. You'll learn!
• Utilize and expand our existing content library to create compelling, accurate, and compliant proposal documents.
• Create persuasive responses that align with customer requirements and emphasizes Skyward's competitive strengths.
• Build an understanding and knowledge of customer domains.
• Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to understand government requirements and align our responses with those needs.
• Work closely with internal Skyward teams, including business development, technical experts, and project managers, to gather information and ensure proposals align with company capabilities and client requirements.
• Assist in improving proposal writing processes and maintaining a repository of reusable proposal templates and content.

What we'd like you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• An interest in civic technology and government contracting.

What would blow us away:

• You've had internships relating to marketing, communications, business development, or, even better, proposal writing.
