Full Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Community Outreach Coordinator is accountable for coordinating and managing the community outreach efforts of the organization. This position partners and coordinates with various members and entities of the community such as the school district, the city and local companies, area employees and personnel of other facilities. This position is also accountable for assisting in managing the daily operations of the Community Outreach Department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
- Plans, organizes and coordinates various programs and events, which could include immunization clinics, sports physicals, major screenings, health fairs and work-site health promotions.
- Receives requests for events and assesses for participation.
- Coordinates event promotions and screening notifications.
- Inputs any necessary dataand prepares all appropriate reports.
- Coordinates and directs activities during events.
- Maintains records for budgeting needs and community benefit reporting.
- Maintains current records of all participants in community outreach activities and communicates regularly with those individuals to assist with community benefit reporting requirements.
- Collects required information and enters information into the community benefit database. Prepares both summary and detail reports and disseminates to various audiences.
- Manages the day-to-day department operations within budgetary allowances.
- Prepares all required financial reports.
- Assists in the supervision of Community Outreach staff.

- Must be computer literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to effectively mentor new community health workers.

QUALIFICATIONS
- EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
- EXPERIENCE - 3 Years of Experience
