C ivil Engineer US Airforce

Pay From: $45 Per Hour

DUTIES:
The duties of the Civil Engineer with DOD experience includes but is not limited to the following:
Design, and remodel for various projects including but not limited to: Elevators, Command Centers, Splash Park Shade, Fire Station, ad dormitories.
Review project designs to ensure construction relations, code and stakeholder requirements are met
Handle Architectural Assessments (e.g., Architectural Barrier Assessments) and add and incorporate results into construction document packages
Provide civil design expertise on all types of contract programming, facility design and construction projects
Ensure that assigned projects are accomplished in accordance with the terms of the contract
Perform document development services including design guide and standards
Provide policy documents, prototype designs, design manuals, and cost projections for projects
Fully comply with all DoD Unified Facility Codes (UFCs) and all US Air Force publications including Air Force Instructions and Manuals.

MUST:
3+years of civil architect experience
Experience designing for DOD/US Air Force including sustainment projects
Extensive knowledge/experience with PACES & M2 (cost-estimating programs used by DoD) and 1391 s
Experienced with Unified Facility Codes and Air Force Instructions and Manuals
In-depth knowledge of Air Force organizational structures, functions, and procedures
Bachelor s Degree
