JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Capability Leader in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) space, you will be responsible for the Artificial Intelligence Solutions business at Apex Systems. Reporting to our Executive Vice President of Solutions, you will drive Apex’s go-to-market strategy and success within AI and help our clients transform their businesses using AI. You will bring your deep understanding of AI technologies and proven track record working with big tech partners driving AI projects from conception to implementation to deliver solutions. As the AI Capability Leader, you are responsible for the growth and success of Apex’s AI solutions business, leading and managing the solution team to design and deliver solutions through close collaboration with internal partners across various teams.
Strategic Leadership
As a Capability Leader, you are responsible for shaping the strategy and driving our market growth in the AI space. Your strategic vision will ensure we are providing value across all partners and clients through delivery of solutions, and you will own the success of our AI solutions business, driving revenue growth and profitability. In this role, success will be measured in part by the achievement of various revenue and profitability goals and KPIs. To meet these goals, you will enable teams across Apex to deliver high-impact solutions.

• Identify opportunities in the AI space and design scalable solutions
• Provide thought leadership and stay updated on the latest AI trends and advancements.
• Mentor and guide a team of AI professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning
• Collaborate with technology partners such as Microsoft, AWS, and Nvidia to leverage their technologies and platforms in Apex solutions.
• Collaborate with other Capability Leaders to lead/impact our design of how AI impacts other Apex Capability areas like Application Development, Support Centers, etc.

Solution Design & Delivery
In this role, you will take ownership of overseeing AI strategic solutions with our clients, ensuring successful, on-time delivery from concept to deployment. You will be responsible for coordinating across teams, resources, and external partners to drive outcomes.

• Lead the development and implementation of AI strategies and solutions for our clients
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver customized AI solutions that drive business value
• Design and deploy GenAI models to solve complex business problems and enhance customer experiences
• Ensure the ethical and responsible use of AI technologies in all projects and provided solutions

Stakeholder Collaboration
You will work closely with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders to achieve business outcomes. This role requires strong relationship building and communication skills. The AI Capability Leader will ensure clarity and alignment across teams and leadership, fostering a collaborative environment with open feedback.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field, preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 15+ years of experience in a client-facing role in technology consulting/professional services
• 10+ years of management or leadership experience (Solution Architects, Delivery, and go-to-market teams, preferred)
• Proficiency in integrating GenAI APIs into existing systems and workflow
• Skills in developing and customizing AI assistants to meet specific business needs
• Strong interpersonal skills, both written and oral, and an ability to communicate complex ideas to all levels of the business. Expert level presentation and consultative selling skills.
• Relevant demonstrated thought leadership: presentations, articles, lectures, blogs, etc.
• Current, expert level subject matter expertise in AI and GenAI across a variety of platforms and technologies
• Expertise in developing Generative Pre-trained Transformer models for various applications
• Proven experience generating innovative solutions and approaches to GenAI challenges
• Strong understanding of machine learning and data analytics: Knowledge of ML algorithms and data analysis techniques.
• Strong background in identifying issues and determining effective solutions in GenAI applications
• Skilled at creating user-centric designs for GenAI applications to enhance user experience
• Overseeing the development and implementation of GenAI products from conception to launch
