Event Coordinator
Our global SaaS client is looking for a FREELANCE Event Coordinator to start in the next two weeks, 15 hours per week, through December 2024, with likely extension through March 2025.
This person must live in the Pacific Time Zone. This is a fully remote role/ The Event Coordinator will execute templated end-to-end coordination of corporate B2B events, including trade shows, field events, virtual workshops and in-person workshops.
EVENT COORDINATOR RESPONSIBILITIES
-This person needs to have experience with B2B event coordination. Bonus if it has been within the tech or SAAS industry.
- Start immediately coordinating events in progress - will be at different stages
- Coordinate all stages of Q1 events - pre-event, during event, post-event
- Manage event needs within Asana project management tool
- Pre-event needs: Purchase order logistics, contracts, ordering booth items, preparing team going to event, timely shipping of event
- Post-event needs: Craft follow-up emails, collect and input booth visitor info, provide event debrief (brand presence, number event attendees, opportunities and successes, etc.)
- Handle multiple events simultaneously at different stages
- Work with vendors
- Research potential 2025 events
- Work in Marketo to help pull reporting and organize certain data (can be trained)
EVENT COORDINATOR REQUIREMENTS
- Deep event coordination experience for presence at corporate trade shows, virtual events and other in-person events
- Experience handling multiple events simultaneously (15 per quarter)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - clear, proactive, professional
- Can-do attitude, willing to be directed
- Prefer knowledge of Marketo, Salesforce and Asana (can be taught)
- Deadline-driven, detail-oriented
