Position Overview
Our client is seeking a creative and experienced Art Director to lead their design team and to work specifically on beauty packaging. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative visual concepts that align with the brand's aesthetic and strategic goals. This role involves overseeing the design process from concept to execution, ensuring high-quality standards and consistency across all visual outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the design team to create compelling visual content for various platforms including print, digital, and social media.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other teams to develop cohesive branding and packaging designs.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of design assets according to project deadlines.
- Review and provide feedback on design drafts, ensuring adherence to customer specifications and brand guidelines.
- Conduct market research and trend analysis to inform design decisions, keeping abreast of beauty and fashion trends.
- Oversee the production process of design elements, including mechanicals and production files, to ensure quality and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Art Director or similar role, preferably in the beauty or consumer products industry.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Strong understanding of branding, package design, and visual merchandising.
- Experience in creating and managing production files and mechanicals.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of market research and consumer preferences related to beauty and fashion.
