About This Role
At Biogen, Enterprise Integration plays a critical role for information exchange / data movement between multiple systems. As a key role within Enterprise Integrations team within Enterprise Application Services organization, the Application Specialist - Enterprise Integrations, will collaborate with developers to design, develop and deliver robust Integration solutions leveraging well-established architecture, platforms, best practices, and standards, for all the functional areas across Biogen. This role will collaborate with key stakeholders including the Functional IT Teams, Build Team, Solution Providers, IT Quality, Project Managers, and the business users to define and execute Integration solution development related activities. This role will also be a proponent of Biogen's next generation Integration architectures across the Biogen enterprise in conjunction with other key Integration architects. This person will serve as the ITSO for all the Enterprise Integrations platforms including APIM and MFT to provide required oversight for operations.
This role may be based in Cambridge, MA or RTP, NC location as Hybrid role.
What You'll Do
- Analyze, understand & translate the business requirement into technical requirements
- Design / Build / Unit test / Code Review / Document Integration solutions
- Provide support for testing phases (SIT, VAL, UAT) & Post Deploy
- Serve as the ITSO for all the Enterprise Integrations platforms and provide oversight for AMS team for operational activities
Qualifications
Who You Are
You have a consultative approach when handling complex Integration projects with the ability to communicate well with senior level business owners and IT teams. You possess strong listening skills with ability to make timely well-informed decisions along with the skills to translate business requirements and architecture designs into system designs. You are well versed in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) / API concepts and other key Integration technologies.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with Computer Science or related degree
- 7 + years of professional technical experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in multiple Integration technologies including Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle Integration Cloud, IPaaS, EAI concepts, XML, SOAP, XSD, WSDL, REST API, JSON, JAX RS, Adapters - JDBC, FTP, API Management and MFT
- Experience with Cloud, Agile methodologies, and Continuous Integration Continuous Deployment (CICD) processes is required
Preferred Skills
- Biotech / Life Sciences experience
- Knowledge of GxP is highly preferred
- Prior experience providing oversight for operations team is a plus
- Related advanced technical certifications and/or degrees
Additional Information
The base salary range for this position is $118,000 - $158,000. Base salary offered is determined though an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
