PAR Systems is a world leader in the design and development of cutting-edge automation and control systems for Aerospace, Life Science, and Nuclear markets. We are seeking an Advanced Software and Controls Engineer who can use their past experience to create complex CNC and PLC programs, intuitive user interfaces, and flexible software architectures for first-of-a-kind, large-scale machines.

We offer market competitive pay and benefits based upon the candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Our starting rate of pay for this salaried position is targeted at $85,000–105,000 annually.

* 3+ years of experience writing complex CNC and PLC programs
* Comfortable with operating and troubleshooting large-scale machines
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, VB.NET, or C#
* Experience with robotics, automation and process control systems
* Strong working knowledge of analog and digital servo systems
* Agile software development methodologies
* Strong organizational and communications skills
* A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a related discipline, with significant coursework or experience in hardware and firmware development
* Strong Siemens PLC experience, with a good understanding of the Siemens PLC Sinumerik toolbox, and NC/PLC/Drive communication protocols in the Sinumerik environment (preferred)
* Up to 25% travel
