Summary of the Role: Your goal is to end the guessing game. You’ll score major points with our clients by tackling the challenges that keep them awake at night. You’ll research, analyze, and evaluate comprehensive benefit plans to become the go-to resource for forward-looking solutions. Building the perfect plan to attract high-performing, loyal employees is not easy. As an Account Executive, you’re able to see the big picture as well as the intricate details. Your vast industry and product-line experience is truly valued, and we want to invest in your professional growth. As our clients’ biggest advocate, you will provide guidance through benefit research, selection, and implementation, develop and present benchmarking reports, cost projections and renewal workups, and delegate projects across the team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- On a granular level, you will guide clients through benefit research, selection, and implementation, develop and present benchmarking reports, cost projections and renewal workups, supervise team members and delegate project-based work as needed.
- On a holistic level, you will form trusted partnerships with clients that inspire absolute confidence in our solutions, and in our ability to enhance their prosperity.
- Execute client strategy
- Negotiates terms, conditions, coverage limits and pricing with carriers and wholesalers
- Develop quotations, pre-renewal information and update client proposal tables
- Review request for proposals and insurance plan analyses
- Oversee open enrollment process for clients and implementation of new business
- Conduct and present annual client compliance audits
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
- Knowledge of benefits administration, HealthCare Reform, industry trends, carrier products and services
- Ability to work independently and anticipate client and team needs
- Effective time management and decision making skills
- Diligent follow up skills
- Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Commanding presentation and public speaking abilities
Education and/or Experience:
- 4-year college or university degree with course work in Human Resources Management, Business Administration and Industrial Psychology, Economics, or a Healthcare related field
- At least 5 years’ industry and product line experience
- At least 4 years’ health and welfare consulting experience required.
- Life, Accident and Health Insurance License required.
- GBA or CEBS Certification a plus

The base salary range for this position is $55,000 – $110,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
