Quad is seekingIndustrial Mechanic Apprenticesfor ourWest Allis, WI plant location.

This is a 4-year, State of Wisconsin Registered Apprenticeship program that combines on-the-job training with classroom instruction at an approved technical college.

While in the plant, Quad's mechanic apprentice will be responsible for the following:

• Working a 12-hour shift. Days, nights, and weekends. Flexibility in hours if required to work around school schedule.
• Assisting with the servicing, troubleshooting, and installation of production and automated support equipment.
• Completing rotations through various maintenance departments; Equipment Maintenance, Quad Metal Works, Predictive, and Rebuild divisions.

Upon successful completion of the program:

• The graduating apprentice will receive a State of Wisconsin Certificate of Apprenticeship for Maintenance Mechanic.
• The graduating apprentice will be working a 12-hour shift. Days, nights, and weekends as needed.

Required Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required, as select candidateswill be required tocomplete a standard admissions assessment at an approved technical college.
• Strong verbal and written comprehension, with the ability to thrive in a team environment and work well under supervision.
• The ability to work responsibly in a variety of industrial environments, including at heights up to 50 feet.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude, strong math skills, and basic computer skills are highly desirable.
