Volt is immediately hiring a CNC Machinist in Fairview, Oregon.

Position: CNC Machinist
Location: Fairview, Oregon
Shift: 1st Shift (Monday - Thursday) 5:30AM - 4PM
Pay: $25 - $32 per hour DOE
Bonuses: Monthly Bonus of 20% (Approximately $800+)

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

What We're Looking For:

Experience: Proficiency with CNC Lathes and/or CNC Mills
Skills: Strong understanding of CNC G & M code, blueprint reading, and machine shop mathematics. Competency in operating forklifts and overhead cranes.
Education: We welcome candidates who are new graduates and eager to gain hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate CNC Mills and/or Lathes machinery
Execute and edit G & M code, with an opportunity to prove new programs.
Perform quality checks using fixed gauges and calipers to ensure parts meet specifications.
Suggest improvements for tooling, setups, and programs to enhance efficiency.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, performing routine equipment maintenance.
